So very sorry to hear the news. David was a truly excellent barrister; smart, articulate, unflappable, but he was also kind and generous with his time and praise. What a lovely man. My thoughts are with his friends, family, colleagues and nearest and dearest. He was a credit to, and will be greatly missed, by the whole profession.
